Hi! My name is Elva. I am one of the receptionists for Dr. Chang. Although, I do much, much…MUCH more! When you come to our office you’ll see me at the front desk. I also help with procedures and preparing charts and paperwork. I’ll collect your insurance information and obtain medical records (I also try to keep the doctor on time!) Ruby Ochoa – Patient Liaison

Hi! I’m Ruby, I am Dr. Chang’s patient liaison. I’ll probably be the first person you have contact with if you’re having weight loss surgery. I will schedule your initial appointment with Dr. Chang. I will also follow-up with you to ensure you make all your appointments necessary for your surgery. I will contact you periodically to see how I can facilitate your progress. I will gather all the necessary paperwork and when everything is in order, I will then forward your chart to our billing representative, Diana. When your surgery is approved, I will schedule your registration date, as well as your surgery date with the hospital. If you need anything, please let me know!
