This regimen ensures that your vitamin and mineral levels do not fall below the minimum safe threshold. Optimal vitamin regimen
Breakfast—2 calcium tablets
Lunch—2 calcium tablets and 1 multivitamin
Supper—2 calcium tablets and 1 iron 2 hours later
B12 monthly injection or weekly nasal spray (bypass and sleeve only)

Alternate vitamin regimen
Breakfast—3 calcium tablets
Lunch—multivitamin and 1 iron tablet together
Supper—3 calcium tablets
B12 monthly injection or weekly nasal spray (bypass and sleeve only)

	1 Month of Calcium Citrate This is a high-grade calcium supplement that is excellent for bypass, band, or sleeve patients.  Calcium citrate is the preferred source of calcium.  Bypass patients should consume 1500-1800 mg per day.  Band and sleeve patients should consume 1200-1500 mg per day.  Currently, we are recommending that all bariatric patients consume 6 tablets per day (1500 mg).  It should not be taken at the same time as the iron. 	4 Months of Calcium Citrate This is the same high-grade calcium in the original packaging.  The bottle is safety sealed.  You are purchasing 3 bottles.  Bypass patients should consume 1500-1800 mg per day.  Band and sleeve patients should consume 1200-1500 mg per day.  Currently, we are recommending that all bariatric patients consume 6 tablets per day (1500 mg).  It should not be taken at the same time as the iron.
